Asaduzzaman Noor in BTV Eid play after 16 years

After becoming a Member of the Parliament Asaduzzaman Noor just worked in a play but after getting the responsibility of Cultural Affairs Ministry he couldn’t get the scope to act in any other play.
In last April, he expressed his desire to work in a play of Bangladesh Television. The BTV authority took it seriously. As a result, the Minster acted in Eid special play for BTV.
Under the story written by Anisul Haque and produced by Mahbuba Ferdous Asaduzzaman Noor acted in a play titled Matir Prodip on the occasion of ensuing Eid-ul-Azha. Shooting of Noor acted part was done at BTV’s own studio at night on September 7. Noor played the role of a flute player in the play. Suborna Mustafa worked as his co-actress.
Basically Asaduzzaman Noor is very much excited to work in the small screen specially on BTV after 16 years. While sharing his feelings he said, “I give special thanks to Director General of BTV Harun to give special importance to cast me in this play. It is really a nice story. In fact, I always want to work in BTV’s plays because my small screen career started there. I really enjoyed working in BTV after a long time. I request the viewers to watch the play in Eid.”
It is noted that on BTV Noor acted first play was Ronger Fanush where he acted in a little role as a neighbourhood. Haider Rizvi and Ferdousi Mazumder acted in two lead roles in that play. Later he worked in Atiqul Haque Chowdhury, Nawajesh Ali Khan, Zia Ansari, Md Barkatullah, Abdullah Al Mamun, Mamunur Rashid, Riaz Uddin Badshah, among others, produced many plays.
He last acted in Rabindranath Tagore story based play Char Oddhyay on BTV.
