Asad’s new film Kaler Putul

Noted actor Raisul Islam Asad has been working for more than four decades. To act in movies, he has already received National Film Award for six times. From the beginning of his career he has been working in TV play and films in parallel way. He has been engaged with shooting of Aka Reza Galib’s movie Kaler Putul in Bandarban now.
While talking about the movie Asad told this correspondent, “Story of the movie revolves with the story of 10 persons who have intention to reach into a common place. I am one of those 10 persons whose name is Rakib in the film. It has really become a nice work. Nasiful Wali wrote story of the movie Kaler Putul.”
Asad started his acting career on stage and television in 1972. In big screen, he started his career by Khan Ataur Rahman’s movie Abar Tora Manush Ho in 1973. Later Asad has impressed the viewers to act in more than 50 movies including Salauddin Zaki’s Ghuddi in 1980, Syed Hasan Imam’s Lal Sabujer Pala in 1981, Kajol Arefin’s Suruj Mia, Manena Na Mana, Noyon-er Alo, Notun Bou, Rajbari, Mimangsha, Ayna Bibi’r Pala, Padma Nodir Majhi, Annyo Jibon, Lalon, Lalshalu, Ghani, Mrittika Maya, etc.
