Both Raisul Islam Asad and Jakia Bari Mamo are acting in small and big screens regularly. They also acted in role of father-daughter for several times on the screen. They were lastly seen together to perform in that role in Arun Chowdhury’s recently released movie Altabanu.
Asad and Mamo again worked together in Nazrul Islam Raju directed Eid special telefilm titled Belly Atopor. Shooting of the telefilm was done in a house in the city’s Uttara area recently. But due to necessity of its story on August 9 and 10 shooting is also scheduled to be held by train from Rajshahi to Dhaka, said its director Raju. Parthib Shahriar and Mezbah Uddin Sumon made script of the telefilm, which will be aired on Ntv during Eid-ul-Azha.
While talking about acting in this telefilm Raisul Islam Asad said, “Earlier I had worked under Raju’s direction. He works sincerely. There is no hurry in his direction. So, I prefer to work under his direction. In the telefilm, Mamo acted in role of my daughter’s role. She is acting well. She is also acting in movies. Now she is one of the finest actresses. Overall it has become a nice work.”
Jakia Bari Mamo shared her feelings by this way, “Asad Bhai is a legendary actor in TV and theatre plays and also in movies. It is a great luck for me to get the opportunity to work with him in this telefilm. It is really a great scope for me to learn something from him.”
Meanwhile, now Asad acted and Rahmatullah Tuhin directed serial New York Theke Bolchhi is being aired on Deepto TV.
On the other hand, Mamo acted and Raihan Rafi directed movie Dohon will be released after Eid-ul-Azha.
