ASA, a micro finance provider in the country, disbursed around Taka one crore to 177 entrepreneurs of the district as loan under Agri Business Project launched in 2011.
The organization has taken up an initiative to disburse more Taka 90 lakh as loan to 150 entrepreneurs of all the seven upazilas in the district during the current fiscal year, sources said.
This was disclosed by the officials of ASA in a concluding ceremony of day long training for the layer farmers at Palashbari Road of the town on Sunday.
With district manager of ASA M Mizanur Rahman chair the function while Sadar upazila livestock officer Dr Rahmat Unnabi and regional manager of the organization Purna Chandra Roy addressed.
