Entertainment Report :
Noted actress Aruna Biswas was outside the country for few days. She has returned to Bangladesh before Eid.
After returning she has become engaged with acting again. This time she urged the government to take special attention about Jatra (a popular folk-theatre form of Bengali theatre) to create awareness among youths and also to save them from drugs.
While talking in this regard Aruna Biswas told this correspondent, “Our Prime Minister always gives attention about art and culture. For this reason, I always believe Jatra can help to save the young generation from drugs and it can also create awareness among them in this regard. It will be the right decision to arrange to stage Jatra plays in different districts, also thana level. By this way we can save our youths.”
Though she has been engaged with acting after returning country Aruna has to give more time to her family right now. She said, “I have given maximum times of my life to acting but it is the right time to give time to my family. My children are growing now. So I should concentrate on them.”
Aruna informed that now she is getting offer to work in those roles which do not attract her to act. Sometimes she gets offer to work but they want to give her less remuneration. So she does not show interest to work. Overall she loves acting and wants to continue it till death. She has already finished dubbing of Montazur Rahman Akbar’s movie Dulabhai Jindabad and Jakir Hossain Razu’s Bhalo Theko.
