Aruna Biswas is a noted film actress of our country who acted in 100 movies in role of heroine. She also acted in 200 movies in role of versatile actress. Now she is engaged with activities of the Censor Board as its member. However, she tries her level best to give time to her professional works. As a part of its continuation, she has been acting in Deepto TV’s ongoing serial titled Bhalobashar Alo-Andhar where she is acting in an important role.
Though Aruna has acted in 300 movies till now but she could not get the National Film Award. She has no pain in this regard but has dissatisfaction. She has acted in such films for them she could get the award. While talking with her she mentioned names of those films – Porosh Pathor, Somman, Doyaban, Hangor Nodi Grenade, Atmosomman and Abdar. But she was disheartened not to get the award. She said, “I always believe movie-lovers of the country love me a lot. I still believe one day I will get the National Film Award.”
