Annual art exhibition and prize giving ceremony of Sir John Wilson School was held on its campus in the city’s Satarkul on Friday.
Renowned artist and Professor Abdus Shakoor Shah, Faculty of Fine Arts, Dhaka University distributed the prize among winners of art exhibition as the chief guest.
Chaired by Nasreen Subhan, Trustee, Social Services and Management Trust (SSMT) and Honorary School Director, the ceremony was also attended, among others, by member of the Trustees, Monsur Ahmed Chowdhury and Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Principal Brig Gen (Retd) Mirza T H Beg, teaching and administrative staff of the school.
There were six groups – A to F from Classes from Play Group (PG) to Class IX. Topics for the groups from A to F were, “Boat”, “My Favourite Toy”, “My School”, “Road Intersection”, “Dreamland” and “Ecology”.
The ceremony was followed by short cultural programme. The parents of the winners also enjoyed the ceremony.
