A day-long art camp titled ‘Shonghat Noy Shompriti’ was held at Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Friday. Kak Communication, an organisation of artists’, in association with Manusher Jonno Foundation organised the art camp at the transport yard of the university.
A total of 28 students of the university took part at the contest where they urged for harmony against conflict among the human beings through their exhibited paintings.
Wasim Ara Antara of 42nd batch, Shababa Kamal of 45th batch and Ashikur Rahman of 42nd batch of Fine Arts Department were awarded as first, second and third prizes respectively at the art contest.
Lecturer of JU Fine Arts Department Shamim Reza distributed prizes among the winners at the prize giving ceremony.
