A two-day long art camp titled ‘India@Bangladesh 2.0’ concluded on Monday night on the Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus.
JU Fine Arts Department in association with Indian High Commission organised the camp on the premises of the department for the first time.
Indian High Commissioner Harsh Vardhan Shringla addressed the concluding session as the chief guest.
Addressing the event, the High Commissioner said “Indian High Commission is always interested to encourage young meritorious students and take forward the binding of mutual understanding between the two countries”.
Presided over by the Chairman of Fine Arts Department M M Moise Uddin, JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Farzana Islam addressed the session as special guest.
A total of 50 students from the Fine Arts Department of 11 public and private universities took part at the art camp.
At the ending session, Indian High Commissioner Harsh Vardhan Shringla
distributed the prizes among the winners.
