Court Correspondent :A Dhaka court on Sunday placed Zakir Hossain Jony on a five-day remand in connection with Thursday’s triple murder in Moghbazar area of the city.The Investigation Officer (IO) of the case and also Sub-Inspector of Detective Branch (DB) of Police, Bahauddin Faruqi produced the accused to the court with a ten-day remand plea.Metropolitan Magistrate Tareq Moinul Islam Bhuiyan passed the remand order after hearing.Faruq Hossain and Sohel Khan close associates of Kala Babu, the prime accused in the murder case, were placed on a five-day remand each on Saturday. On Thursday night, a group of miscreants shot Ranu, 32, Munna, 22, and Billal, 20, to death allegedly in the city’s Moghbazar area over land dispute.
