Bangladesh Army beat Bangladesh Power Development Board by 3-1 sets to bag the top spot in Group A of the Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited Victory Day Volleyball competition were decided on Monday at volleyball stadium.
In the group A, Bangladesh Army became group champions while Bangladesh Power Development Board finished at as runners-up.
While in the group B matches, Bangladesh topped the group with Titas Club finished at runner-up.
Nine teams – Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Air Force, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Ansar, Bangladesh Power Development Board, Titas Club and Fire Service team – will take part in the week-long meet, sponsored by Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited and organized by BVF.
