Army Shooting Association on top with 18 medals

Army Shooting Association took the top position in the shooting competition of the Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games with 19 medals including eight gold medals, five silver medals and five bronze medals on Sunday. Navy Shooting Club took the second spot with 11 medals including three gold medals, four silver medals and four bronze medals.
Gold medalist of SA Games Shakil who took part for Bangladesh Army Shooting Association bagged gold medal in the men’s 50 metre pistol event. He failed to capture gold medal in his favourite 10 metre pistol event. Shakil earned 516 score to clinch gold.
Anwar of Ghatail Army Shooting Club gained silver in this event scoring 504. Abdur Razzak of Savar Army Shooting Club bagged bronze medal scoring 501.
Ardin Ferdous Akhi of Kushtia Rifle Club clinched gold medal in the women’s 25 metre scoring 551. Turing Dewan of Navy Shooting Club claimed silver in this event scoring 533. Jannatul Ferdous Banya of Army Shooting Association earned bronze medal scoring 531.
Abdullah Hel Baki of Navy Shooting Club bagged gold medal in the men’s 50 metre rifle scoring 1133. Robiul Islam of Navy Shooting Club gained silver medal in this event scoring 1132. Shovon Chowdhury of Chattogram Shooting Club earned bronze medal in this event scoring 1128.
Fardin Mohammad Arnab of BKSP Shooting Club captured gold medal in the men’s (junior) 50 metre rifle prone event scoring 580. Chayan Ali of Army Shooting Association bagged silver in this event scoring 579. Abu Sufian of Navy Shooting Club earned bronze scoring 572.
