Army Shooting Association emerged team event champions and BKSP Shooting Club finished runners-up in the Suzuki 7th National Air Gun Championship that concluded at National Shooting Complex in Gulshan here on Saturday.
High Commissioner of India Harsh Vardhan Shringla was the chief guest at the closing function of the four-day meet on Saturday and later he distributed the prizes.
The function was chaired by President of Bangladesh Shooting Federation Nazimuddin Chowdhury where federation general secretary Intekhabul Hamid was also present.
On the closing day’s lone event– Men’s air rifles–Anjan Kumar Singh of Army Shooting Association clinched the top slot scoring 201.3, Gundhan Singh of the same team finished 2nd scoring 200.8 while Mohammad Jeshimuzzaman of Narayanganj Rifles Club became 3rd scoring 180.9.
