Army Shooting Association emerged champions and Dhaka Rifles Club finished runners-up in the Beximco 27th National Shooting Championship that concluded on Saturday at the Gulshan Shooting Complex here.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid MP was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the six-day meet and later he distributed the prizes.
Results of the Saturday’s events:
10-metre air pistol (men’s): gold – Mahendra Kumar Singh (Army Shooting Association), silver- Raihanul Islam (Army SA), bronze- Mustahid-ul-Islam (Rajshahi Rifles Club).
10-metre air pistol (men’s junior): gold – Anwar Hossain (Army SA), silver-Shakil Ahmed (Army SA), bronze – Sheikh Shahjalal Sadman (BKSP Shooting Club).
50-metre rifles three positions (men’s): gold – Abdullah Hel Baki (Dhaka Rifles Club), silver -Towfique Shahriar Chandan (Kushtia Rifles Club), bronze -Ramzan Ali (Army SA).
50-metre rifles three positions (men’s junior): gold -Jeshimuzzaman (Narayanganj Rifles Club), silver- Sagir Ahmed (Army SA), bronze -Abu Sufian (BKSP SC)
Skeet : gold -SM Sabbir Hasan (Army SA), silver- Nuruddin Selim (Chittagong Rifles Club), bronze – Altamas Kabir (Dhaka Rifles club).
