Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy moved in the final of the Anjan’s Independence Day Hockey Competition on Sunday.
In the day’s first semi-final, Bangladesh Army beat Bangladesh Air Force by 5-3 goals in the tie-breaker at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
The stipulated time ended in a 3-3 draw.
Milon of Bangladesh Army scored two goals and his teammate Malek netted one goal.
On the other hand, Khorshedur of Bangladesh Air Force scored two goals and his teammate Mimo netted one goal.
In the day’s second semi-final, Bangladesh Navy defeated BKSP by 6-3 goals at the same venue.
Ktishna Kumar, Mainul of Bangladesh Navy scored two goals and their teammates Chayan, Sarwar successfully struck one time each on the board.
Ashraful of BKSP scored two goals and his teammate Tanjim netted one goal.
Today Bangladesh Army will take on Bangladesh Navy in the final at 3.10 pm at the same venue.
