Bangladesh Army emerged champions in the 1st Marcel National Women’s Wushu championship that concluded on Wednesday at National Sports Council Gymnasium.
The newly crowned Bangladesh Army on the way to the top secured six gold medals to clinch the title while Bangladesh Ansar finished runners-up with four golds.
FM Iqbal Bin Anwar, head of ports and welfare division of Walton was the chief guest on the closing day and distributed the prizes.
Near about two hundred participants competed for 57 medals. The championship included Sandha and Taolu events.
