Army emerge champions in National Wushu meet

Bangladesh Army emerged as champion in Mayor Hanif National Wushu competition that concluded on Saturday, said an ISPR press release on Sunday.
Army hogged the headlines as they collected 23 gold, 15 silver and 2 bronze medals. Among the 23 gold medals, 17 were won by the female players of Bangladesh Army.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr. Biren Sikder, MP, was present as chief guest at the closing ceremony and distributed prizes among the winners.
Dr. Abdus Sobhan Golap, special assistant to Honorable Prime Minister was also present on the occasion.
The three-day competition began from September 1 and concluded on Saturday with the participation of Bangladesh Army, BKSP, BJMC, BGB, Sonali Bank and Post Office team.
