The Chief of Army Staff, General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed, OSP, ndu, psc visited the town hall area of the Mymensingh city around 12 noon on Tuesday. While inspecting the patrol activities, the army chief exchanged views with the members of the army on duty there.
General Shafiuddin was accompanied by General Officer Commanding Army Training and Doctrine Command Lieutenant General SM Matiur Rahman, Area Commander Ghatail Area Major General Syed Tareq Hossain, Station Commander Mymensingh Station Brigadier General Md. Mahbubur Rahman.
Mymensingh Divisional Commissioner Shafiqur Reza Biswas, BGB Sector Commander Colonel Mahmudur Rahman, Range DIG Barrister Harun Ur Rashid, RAB-14 Commander Lieutenant Colonel Abu Naeem Mohammad Talat informed the Army Chief regarding the ongoing lockdown situation.
