Chief of Army Staff General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan paid a farewell call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the Army Chief expressed gratitude to the President for extending necessary guidance and cooperation in discharging his duties, President’s press secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS.
The Army Chief apprised the President of the development activities of the Bangladesh Army in various sectors. Abdul Hamid thanked the Army Chief for discharging his duties properly. The President hoped that the trend of development that has been introduced in Bangladesh Army would continue in future.
