Outgoing Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed on Sunday met with Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Shaheen Iqbal and Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan at their respective headquarters.
On behalf of the Bangladesh Navy (BN) and Bangladesh Air Force (BAF), the outgoing Chief of Army Staff was given Guard of Honor at their respective headquarters, said a press release.
During the meeting, the outgoing Chief of Army Staff exchanged greetings with the two Chiefs and spent some time there.
General Aziz Ahmed thanked the Chiefs of Naval and Air Force for their overall cooperation during his tenure.
It may be mentioned that the Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed will formally hand over the charge of the Chief of Army Staff to the newly appointed Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed on June 24, 2021.
