Bangladesh Army Chief General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq on Thursday called on Nepalese President Bidhya Devi Bhandari at her office in Kathmandu.
During the meeting, they discussed on different issues of mutual interests between the two country’s armed forces, said an ISPR release.
Earlier, Bangladesh Army Chief Huq also met with Nepalese Prime Minister, Defence Minister and Army Chief.
Huq, who is now on a 5-day official visit to Nepal, reached there on June 6, it added. After reaching Nepal, he paid rich tributes at Army Pavilion and the monument of late heroes by placing floral wreaths.
