Bangladesh Army emerged champions of the Senior Division of Men’s Group of the Korean Ambassador Cup Taekwondo Championship while Eden Girls College became champions of the Senior Division of the Women’s Group on Saturday. The two-day long Korean Ambassador Cup Taekwondo Championship was held at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council.
BJMC finished runners-up of the Senior Group of the Men’s Division while Bangladesh Army became runners-up of the Senior Group of the Women’s Division.
Shaheed Ramiz Uddin High School emerged champions of the Boys’ Group while Shaheed Anwar Girls College became champions of the Girls’ Group.
Adarsha Biddya Niketon finished runners-up of the Boys’ Group while Muslim Modern Academy became runners-up of the Girls’ Group.
After the competition, South Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Lee Yun Young distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Vice-President of Taekwondo Headquarter Kukkiwon Young Do was with him as the special guest.
President of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal and General Secretary of the Federation Mahmudul Islam Rana were present at the time.
