Bangladesh Army emerged the champions of the Men’s Senior Group of the Trust Bank National Teakwondo Competition on Saturday. The Competition was held at the Gymnasium of the National Sports Council.
Bangladesh Army bagged six gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal. BJMC, the runners-up of the same group earned two gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal.
BKSP became champions of the Men’s Junior Group. BKSP collected seven gold medals and one silver medal. Rajshahi District team, the runners-up of the same group achieved one gold medal, four silver medals and one bronze medal.
Bangladesh Ansar emerged the champions of the Women’s Senior Group. Ansar gained six gold medals and two bronze medals. BJMC, the runners-up of the same group bagged two gold medals, three silver medals and two bronze medals.
Cox’s Bazar District team became the champions of the Women’s Junior Group. Cox’s Bazar collected four gold medals, one silver medal and two bronze medals. Sirajganj District team, the runners-up of the same group earned two gold medals, one silver medal and three bronze medals.
After the competition State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder, MP distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest. President of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation Kazi Morshed Kamal and General Secretary of the Federation Mahmudul Islam Rana were present at the time.
