Bangladesh Army emerged as the champions of the Men’s Division of the day-long Victory Day Rugby Competition after earning highest point in the league at the Paltan Maidan on Saturday. Flame Boys Rugby Club finished runners-up in the meet.
On the other hand, Flame Girls Rugby Club became champions in the Women’s Division after collecting highest point in the league sat the same venue on the same day. Victoria Sporting Club finished runners-up in the contest.
After the ending of the competition, Freedom Fighter MA Rashid distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest. General Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Union (BRU) Mousum Ali, Joint-Secretary of BRU Sayeed Ahmed, Members of BRU Din Islam, Parvin Putul, Sirajul Islam were present at the time.
