Bangladesh Army emerged the champions in the Korea Ambassador Cup Taekwondo Competition at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council on Friday. Bangladesh Army captured eight gold medals and six silver medals in the Men’s Senior Division, while claimed eight gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal in the Women’s Senior Division.
Border Guard Bangladesh became runners-up in the Men’s Senior Division bagging five gold medals, eight silver medals and one bronze medals.
After the competition. First Secretary of South Korean Embassy to Bangladesh Youngmin Seo distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest. President of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF) Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal, General Secretary of BTF Mahmudul Islam Rana were present at the time.
