Bangladesh Army, BKSP, Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Air Force reached the semi-finals of the Anjan’s Independence Day Hockey Competition on Friday.
In the day’s first match, Bangladesh Army beat BKSP by 7-6 goals at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Milon of Bangladesh Army scored two goals and his teammates Sirajul, Malek, Ripon, Sabbir Rana, Shohag successfully struck one time each on the board.
On the other hand, Ashraful of BKSP scored five goals and his teammate Mohsin netted one goal.
In the day’s second match, Bangladesh Navy defeated Bangladesh Air Force by 5-2 goals at the same venue.
Krishna Kumar of Bangladesh Navy scored three goals and his teammates Koushik, Romman successfully struck one time each on the board.
On the other hand, Niloy and Mahbub of Bangladesh Air Force netted one goal each.
Tomorrow Bangladesh Army will face Bangladesh Air Force in the first semi-final at 1.45 pm while Bangladesh Navy will meet BKSP in the second semi-final at 3.45 pm at the same venue.
The winners of the two semi-finals will face each other in the final on March 14 at the same venue.
