Members of Chittagong district police arrested an alleged arms trader along with two light guns from Chunoti area under Lohagara thana of the district on Wednesday morning. The arrested was identified as Mohammad Hossain, 22 hailed from Mosheskhali upazila of Cox’s Bazar district.
Mohammad Shahjahan, Officer-in-Charge of Lohagara thana, said on secret information, police arrested the arms trader with two light guns from a Chittagong-bound Hanif Paribahan bus coming from Cox’s bazaar at Chunoti area of Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway under Lohagara thana of the district around 12:30am.
