Baizid Thana police under CMP rounded up one arms trader from Arefin Nager under Baizid than yesterday morning at about 10 am .
The arms trader identified as Abdul Hakim Maji(38) who is the son of late Badiur Rahman of Moheskhali upazila under Cox’sBazar district.
Police recovered one LG and two rounds catridges from his possession. Officer in-charge of Baizid thana Md. Mohsin told that abdul Hakim Maji is a professional arms trader and he came over Arefin Nagar aimed at selling these arms .
Acting on secret information, police detained him with arms. A case under arms act is now under process in the concerned police station, sources said.
