Police filed an arms case against a leader of Bangladesh Juba League named Mohammad Asadujjaman Hasan who was arrested with firearms and bullets from Popadia under Boalkhali upazila in Chittagong on Tuesday.
Deputy Inspector of Boalkhali Thana Mahamudul Hasan Milton filed the case on Thursday. Asadujjaman Hasan is the office secretary of Bangladesh Juba League’s Boalkhali upazila committee.
Sources said police raided the home of Asadujjaman in connection with a case filed against him in Khulna. They arrested him from his home with one LG and 11 rounds of bullets from there.
