Police recovered 310 rounds of SMG rifle bullets with 12 magzines from Bandar thana area in the port city on Tuesday . Police sources said these ammunitions were recovered from a fallen tank of Kalarma pukur while redigging the tank .
These ammos were found under the earth of the tank. Sub Inspector of Bandar police Md. Saiful Islam told that while digging the tank, the labourers found a wooden box inside the tank and instantly informed the police about it.
The Bandar thana police swooped on the spot a nd recovered the abandoned ammos from the tank and taken in their custody, sources.
