Actor Dhruva Sarja filed a Rs 5 crore defamation case against actor Sruthi Hariharan on behalf of his uncle Arjun Sarja at the Bengaluru City Civil Court on Thursday. The move came days after Sruthi had accused Arjun of misbehaving with her on the sets of Vismaya (2016).
A suit was filed against Sruthi hours before the meeting at the Karnataka Film Chambers of Commerce on the matter.
Senior actor Ambareesh along with other members of Kannada film fraternity met today to amicably solve the conflict between Sruthi and Arjun, which has been making national headlines for the last few days.
Ambareesh individually met Sruthi and Arjun and heard their side of the story. But, he was unsuccessful in finding a solution today.
