Post the success of No Entry, makers of the film have decided to make a sequel of the film. While there were rumours that the film will bring back the hit pair – Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor together, looks like the same may not happen now. The sequel of the film is reportedly titled, ‘No Entry Main Entry’, however now we hear that Bhaijaan Salman Khan may not star in the second installment. Instead, replacing will be Anil Kapoor’s bhanjaa, Arjun Kapoor. The two were last seen together in the comedy film, Mubarakan.
Helmed by Anees Bazmee and bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, No Entry Sequel’s other star cast is yet to be finalized. It’s said that makers of the film did wait for Salman Khan for quite a while but due to his packed schedule, they had to finally replace the actor.
Confirming the same, a source told a daily, “The movie is currently in the scripting stage. But the story is such that it requires a new cast. Though several names are being discussed, Boney is keen that Arjun leads the pack. Given the success of Mubarakan (2017), Boney feels director Anees Bazmee and Arjun make a strong team.”
In his interview earlier, Anees Bazmee had said, “Salman is a fantastic actor, he is a star. If he is part of the film then it is really very good, but if he doesn’t want to do it then we will have to think of another actor with all plus and minus points and accordingly work towards it (story). Whenever Salman is part of a film it does benefit (the film.”
We still wait for an official confirmation from the makers on the same.
