Arifin Shuvo is a popular hero of present time. He is a full-fledged hero in case of romantic and action typed movies. He is conscious about his acting. If he wanted he could act in many movies one after another but he tried to work in good story and challenging role based movies. Shapludu is Golam Sohrab Dodul-directed his first movie where Shuvo played the role of Arman.
Bidya Sinha Mim, Tariq Anam Khan, Salauddin Lavlu, Zahid Hasan, Intekhab Dinar, Shatabdi Wadud and Sushama Sarkar also acted in different roles in this film. According to Shuvo, casting of the film can tell how will be the film? For a small role, director took a theatre actor to make the scene perfect.
Rafiqul Alam, Bappa Mazumder, Kona, Hridoy Khan, Imran and Porshi lent their vocals for the play-back songs of the movie. Overall, everything made a nice work, according to director Dodul.
While acting in this film Arifin Shuvo told this correspondent, “In fact, Dodul Bhai is a proved, inspected and talented play director. Shapludu is his directed first movie. In his first film, he gave a lot of efforts to make the film successful. He is a professional director. Every role in this movie tried to give their level best effort while taking part in the shooting. Director has tried to come out from typical thinking of hero, heroine and villain. Dodul Bhai has presented me in the film not as a hero but an actor. But I was not fully satisfied to work in this movie because I thought I could not give cent percent in acting, it’s my honest compliment.”
Shuvo also informed that Shapludu is set to release on September 27. From Wednesday he again started shooting of Neyamul’s movie Jam.
