Bangladesh Glaucoma Society formed a new committee 2016-17 recently. Prof. Dr. Arif Mian Ex Director NIOH and Dr. Zakia Sultana Shahid Associate Prof. AKMMC has been selected as President and Secretary General of the society.
The other office-executives are: The other office-executives are: Dr. Ziaul Karim President elect, Dr Istiaque Anwar, Organising Secretary; Dr Iftekher Md Munir, Treasurer; Dr Salma Parvin, Scientific Secretary; Dr Quamrul Islam Khan, Joint Secretary; Dr Hasan Azom, Office Secretary; and Dr Shafiul Islam Prodhan, Publication and Publicity Secretary.
The executive members are; Prof Shafiqul Islam, Prof Hasan Shahid, Prof Mizanur Rahman, Dr Nazneen Khan, Dr M A Karim, Dr. Hafizur Rahman, Prof Abul Bashar Sheikh, Dr Musharaf Hossain, Dr K Ziaul Islam Md. Ali, Dr Siddikur Rahman and Dr Ruhi Mannan.
