Angel Di Maria is one of six Premier League players included in Gerardo Martino’sArgentina squad for the upcoming Copa America.
The £59.7million midfielder endured a difficult debut season following his British record transfer to Manchester United, but is included in the Albiceleste’s 23-man squad for the tournament in Chile.
Di Maria’s Old Trafford teammate Marcos Rojo is also involved, along withManchester City trio Pablo Zabaleta, Martin Demichelis and the Premier Leaguegolden boot winner Sergio Aguero.
Tottenham’s £30million midfielder Erik Lamela is also included.
Lionel Messi will captain the squad, for whom Carlos Tevez is also called up, having ended his three-year international exile in 2014.
Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi, reportedly a £35million target for United boss Louis van Gaal, has also been included, as has former Liverpool and West Ham star Javier Mascherano.
