Argentina Football team is likely to arrive in Dhaka in November to play a FIFA International Friendly match against Paraguay at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and other star players of Argentina will come to play for Argentina.
Besides, Venezuela will play a FIFA International Friendly Football against Paraguay in November.
Senior Vice-President of BFF Abdus Salam Murshedy said, ” Argentina may come in Dhaka in November. But I cannot confirm this matter. We discuss with those Federations. I am hoping that if everything goes well, Argentina, Paraguay and Venezuela will visit Bangladesh.”
It may be mentioned that Argentina came in the city in the year of 2011. Argentina played against Nigeria in a FIFA International Friendly Football match. Argentina beat Nigeria by 3-1 goals in that match. Lionel Messi took part in that exhibition match.
Argentina Football Federation expressed that it wants foolproof security for their players during the tour of Argentina.
On the other hand, Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has given a condition to Argentina Football Federation that Argentina Football Federation must send the full-fledged squad of Argentina. Specially BFF wants that Messi will travel with Argentina squad and will participate in the Friendly match against Paraguay.
The schedule of FIFA International Friendly match yet to be finalized.
But Paraguay Football Federation sent a message in a Twitter that Paraguay will play first FIFA International match against Venezuela on November 15 in Dhaka and will play the second FIFA International match against Argentina on November 18. Venezuela Football Federation also confirmed their tour in Dhaka.
