Acting is his passion. But for the last few years he has made a play only for infatuation. Title of the play was Se Kotha Gopon Chhilo. After airing the play on Channel i he got huge response from all. He is viewers’ choice actor Arfan Ahmed.
On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr, Arfan is going to make another play which script is written by Aronno Anwar. Title of the play is Big Shot. He informed that six popular actors are expected to act in this play but who will work yet not confirmed.
While talking in this regard Arfan told this correspondent, “I act from the point of view of my fascination. I have accepted it as my profession for the survival. However, I show interest to give direction. From that desire I am going make another play. I am receiving positive responses from everybody. I hope this time I will become successful again. Because my second directed play will be a challenge for me.”
In the city’s Konapara area Arfan had own theatre group named Nattyaon. It was directed under his own coordination. Under the banner of this group he gave direction of Momtaz Uddin Ahmed’s play Bornochora. In TV play, he was first seen in Shamsuddoha Talukder produced a play titled Puroshkar. From 1997 he has been acting in Bangladesh Television as an enlisted actor. Right now he has been acting in several numbers of serials in different satellite channels.
Arfan is the youngest son of Afsar Uddin Ahmed and Rashida Akter. His acted only released movie was Meher Afrose Shaon’s Krishnapokkho.
