Architect Festival-2016′ as arranged by the Architect Department of Chitagong University of Engineering & Technology was held on Thursday at CUET central auditorium . In observance of the Architecture Day-2016, the festival was arranged.
Vice Chancellor of the CUET Prof. Dr. Rafiqul Alam graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
The chief guest in his brief delilverations emphasized the role of architects to evolve creative ideas aimed at erecting eye catching structures .
He praised the role of the architects in all respects. CUET VC further said since inception of CUET , Architect Department is advancing with tremendous success and now involved with the rapid development programs of the govt .
Chief Engineer of Architect Deptt Md. Nazmul Latif presided over the festival events.
Among others, Dean of Civil Engineering faculty Prof.Dr. Md. Hazrat Ali, Dean of Archtect and Planning faculty Prof.Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Head of Civil engineering Deptt Md Prof. Dr. Abdur Rahman Bhuyia, Asstt. Professor of Architect Deptt Mr. Kanu Kumar Das, Convenor of the Archtecture Day-2016 Mostafiz Al Mamun, Chairman of Architect Festival Md. Ahmed Sifat spoke on the occasion, Asstt. Registrar Md. Fazlur Rahman sources said.
