Bangladesh archery team secured silver medal in recurve bow of men’s team event after losing to Russia by 0-6 sets in the final of Asia Cup Stage 2 (world ranking tournament) held on Saturday in Bangkok, Thailand.
Earlier, on way to the final, Bangladesh beat India by 5-4 set in the semifinal, according to a message received from Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) on Saturday.
In a message, BOA Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza and all executive members of BOA lauded the players and officials of the archery team, which are expected to return home today (Sunday).
