Gold and bronze medal winning archery team returned home on Monday after participating in the just concluded 5th Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa.
Bangladesh Archery Federation vice presidents M Shoyeb Chowdhury and Anisur Rahman Dipu, general secretary Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapal, Bangladesh Olympic Association deputy secretary general Ashukur Rahman Miku, were welcomed the archery team, among others, at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
It can be mention that, archer M Tamimul lslam made the nation proud by winning the maiden gold medal in the men’s singles recurve bow event while female archer Nandini Khan Swapna bagged bronze medal in the women’s recurve bow event in the 5th Commonwealth Youth Games.
