The main battle of the season’s curtain raiser soccer meet, –Walton Federation Cup Football– begins today (Friday) with quarterfinal match with the surprise champions of Group A Arambagh KS taking on Group C runners-up Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in the opener at Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) here.
The knockout phase of the Federation Cup Football will kick-off at 3:45 pm.
In the remaining quarterfinals, Group B champions Sheikh Russel KC will face Group D runners-up Rahmatganj MFS on Saturday, Group C champions Brothers Union Club will encounter Group A runners-up Dhaka Abahani Ltd on Sunday while Group D champions Team BJMC will meet Group B runners up Muktijoddha SKC on Monday.
The two semifinal matches will be held on Wednesday (June 22) and Thursday (June 23) at 3:45 pm at BNS while the final will be held on Sunday (June 26) at the same time and same venue.
