Popular TV actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba tied the knot with Shyamma Dewan, a US citizen. The couple’s Gaye Holud ceremony was held on August 31. The wedding ceremony took place at a venue near Malibagh on September 2. Apurba told the media, “Yes, I got married. And no,
I am not committing any crime. I had plans to share the good news with everyone after the official wedding ceremony; however people are already saying all kinds of stuff about me.
So, I had to announce the news. Our marriage was arranged by our families and we are very much looking forward to our future together,” Apurba continued. “I had plans to invite everyone in the media, but due to Covid, I could not do that.”
Apurba asked for everyone’s ‘prayers and cooperation’ for this new chapter in his life. His future wife Shyamma Dewan finished her BBA studies and is currently working as a brand ambassador for a car manufacturing company in the USA. Apurba’s second marriage to Nazia Hassan Audity came to an end last year in March. The couple cited irreconcilable
differences for the divorce after nine years of marriage. They have a son together. Earlier, Apurba was briefly married to small screen popular actor Sadia Jahan Prova.
