The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Foundation is accepting applications from Bangladesh for a number of bursaries and scholarships.
At present, two bursaries up to the value of £1,000 will be awarded to eligible applicants who currently reside in one of the 28 countries that DFID currently operates, including Bangladesh, to help them start or continue their procurement and supply education, said a British High Commission press release.
This inaugural opportunity came from an initiative taken by CIPS Foundation in partnership with the UK’s Department for International Development’s (DFID) Procurement and Commercial Department (PCD).

The aim of this bursary is to provide assistance to girls and women in Bangladesh to attract, retain and develop the new and emerging talents within procurement by helping bright and gifted girls and women break into and succeed in the profession. The bursary will cover the cost of course books, exam fees, e-learning and CIPS membership.
