Farjana Akter, a student of Anwara Medical College (2nd year) and daughter of Abdul Jabbar, a senior officer of Dutch Bangla Bank Limited has been suffering from kidney ailments for long. She is now taking treatment in the city’s National Heart Foundation Hospital and Research Institute under Prof Dr Badiuzzaman. Her two kidneys have been damaged. For her kidney transplantation a huge amount of money will be needed. But her father cannot afford to bear this expenditure. This is why, her father has requested the affluent section of the society including medical students and bank officials and employees to extend their helping hands to save the life of Farjana.
