Rawshan Ara Khanam, 50, has been suffering from Thalassaemia and heart disease for the last 12 years. She is now under treatment of Dr Shahidul Alam, a heart specialist of Enam Medical College, Savar.
However, doctors of the Medical College have advised to take her abroad for better treatment, which would require at least Tk 15 lakh. But, it is difficult for her family to bear the treatment cost.
Son of Rawshan Ara Khanam, Md Joni Alam, a student of Jahangirnagar University, has made a fervent appeal to the benevolent persons and affluent section and institutions of the society to come forward with their helping hands to save his mother’s life.
