The week-long Armed Police Battalion (APBN) Baseball coaching camp began at the APBN Headquarters in the city’s Uttara on Saturday.
Commander of APBN-12 and Police Super Tofael Ahmed inaugurated the coaching camp. Japanese Coach Heroci Watanabe has conducted the coaching camp. Azam Ali Khan and Talha Jubaer have assisted him.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association Aminul Islam spoke at the inaugural ceremony.
A friendship baseball match between APBN and Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) was held at the same venue on the same day.
Marking the Police Baseball Championship, baseball coaching camps were held at the different districts. In the last May, coaching camps were held at Rajshahi Range, Rangpur Range and Syedpur Range. The baseball coaching camp will be held in the last week of June at Kurigram Police Lines.
