National Film Award winner actress Aparna Ghosh has been engaged with acting in both small and big screens. But she is conscious about acting in drama serial. She always gives priority to not only script but also her role in the serial.
She is now working in new TV serial Tolpar, which shooting started on Saturday. Musafir Roni is giving direction of the serial which story is written by Zakir Hossain Ujjal.
Director Roni informed that along with Aparna, Dr Ezazul Islam and Shamima Naznin are also acting in important roles in the serial. Therefore, Saju Khadem, Moushumi Hamid, Rashed Mamun Apu, Niloy, Raiza Rashid, Emu Shikder, Nusrat Jahan Papia, among others, will be attached with this serial in different times. This serial will go on air within this year in any TV channel.
While talking about acting in the serial Aparna told this correspondent, “I have liked story and role, so I have agreed to work in this serial. Roni is a promising play director. For this reason, he has intention to do cordially and sincerely while giving direction. Therefore, unit is organized. Story of the serial revolves with tales of a female hostel. Ezaz Bhai and Shamima Apa are top class actors. I am really enjoying working with them in the serial.”
Dr Ezazul Islam said, “I am truly said that it is becoming a nice work. Roni is showing his capability and maturity while giving direction of the serial. I am really satisfied working under his direction.”
Shamima Naznin said, “It is a good story based serial. We are working cordially. I give thanks to Roni to make a nice serial for the viewers.”
Musafir Roni-directed first TV play was Golper Shesh Patata Chhera Chhilo, which was telecasted on Channel i in 2012. Later, he made several plays including Sonchalok, Matir Manush, Ochol, Irar Paglami, Keno Emon Hoi, Obhiman, etc.
Roni developed his skill working with Murad Parvez as his assistant for three years and also worked with Dipankar Dipon with seven years for same reason.
