Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Many play directors feel comfortable to cast popular face of the small screen Aparna Ghosh, also the National Film Award winner actress, as the heroine in the story of literature based works. Directors find reflection on the face of Aparna as heroine regarding description of the literary works. Achira is the heroine of Rabindranath Tagore’s story Shesh Kotha. A TV play has been made by Nahid Ahmed Pial with the title Achira. But its story is not adaptation of Shesh Kotha. Director Pial has made Achira based on a contemporary story.
Aparna informed that shooting of the play was done in different locations in the capital including Kalabagan area last two days. The play will be telecasted on RTV. Aparna earlier worked under Nahid Ahmed Pial’s direction in the story of literature based works. Rawnak Hasan acted against Aparna in the play Achira. In the story of the play, it will be shown that Achira came to the city from a rural area. Then she was introduced with a person and at one stage, they decided to settle down. But before marriage, Achira found her mother-written a diary and she invented many undisclosed incidents after reading that diary. Achira faced in front of a new world. Story of the play continues.
While working in the play Aparna said, “Earlier, I had experience to work under Nahid Ahmed Pial Bhai’s direction. As he writes story himself and also gives direction, so while working under his direction actors do not think about acting. Before standing in front of the camera, he introduces the sequence and acting becomes easier for the actors. Pial Bhai always prefer to work with literature based stories. I am lucky because I got the scope to act under his direction in these works. I always get huge support from him while working. I got Rawnak Bhai as my co-actor in the play. He is also very much co-operative during work. I also got him as my co-actor in plays of literature based stories.”
