Oikyafront leader and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President ASM Abdur Rab on Sunday accused the government of hiring all hall rooms in Dhaka after learning the date of Oikyafront’s mass hearing.
“We will arrange the mass hearing at any cost on February 24. If no room is available, we will arrange it even under the open sky,” he said.
Abdur Rab informed, no hall room is available for booking without police permission.
He said it after a Oikyafront steering committee’s meeting
at Arambagh Gonoforum central office about 4 pm on Sunday.
The JSD leader said, in the world, polling takes place at daytime. But it is exceptional in Bangladesh where poling is done at night.
In the mass hearing, we will present the documents of irregularities that changed the results of December 30 election.
Dr Kamal Hossain was not present at the meeting.
BNP Secretary General and also spokesman of Jatiya Oikyafront Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is staying in Singapore for treatment.
