Representative of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) Anwaruddin Chowdhury has been re-elected as a Director of the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) Board for a second four year term 2015-19 at the CAPA Assembly of Delegates (AOD) meeting held recently at the Coex Convention Centre in Seoul, Korea.
The CAPA Board and Committee meetings were also held at the same venue, followed by the 19th CAPA Conference, hosted by the Korean Institute of CPAs, on the theme Asian Accountants- Leading the way, Inspiring the future. This is the first time that Bangladesh has been elected to the CAPA Board for the second consecutive term and the third time that an ICAB nominee has been elected as Director of CAPA Board.
Anwaruddin is a Council Member and Past President ICAB (2001). He has been serving as a Director of CAPA Board since 2011 and as a Member of CAPA PSFM Committee.
